Union League Liberty Hill is an expansive property offering a variety of amenities. The Club features an 18-hole Gary Player designed golf course that sprawls across the 311-acre grounds. Certainly a unique hole, hole #5 is a short par 4 located on the furthest point of property from the clubhouse. Playing downhill and drivable for longer players, the hole calls for an immediate decision off the tee. The fairway is bisected by a massive bunker forcing you to choose a side to attack. A well-positioned tee shot should set up for a good score.
A short par 5 closes the front nine at Liberty Hill. A creek snakes its way through this hole dividing it in two. After a safe tee shot, a player is faced with finding the best angle into the green. The fairway approaches the green from the left and the right making for a strategic scoring opportunity and a scenic look at the hole’s water feature.
The second par 3 on the back nine is hole #14. The approach short of this green blends with the fairway of hole #17 creating a great visual off the tee. The downhill par 3 can be attacked from many angles with 6 different tees all providing a unique look. A penalty area defends the left side of this challenging, dynamic par 3.
